3 Generations of Kitchin's for C&C Catering Equipment Ltd

Matthew Kitchin, son of C&C Catering Equipment Ltd's Managing Director Peter, has recently joined the company making it three generations of Kitchin's working in the family business founded by Peter's father John Kitchin.

Matthew begins as a CAD Trainee. He joins cousin (Peter's nephew and John's Grandson) Paul Kitchin who has worked in the business for four years and is Sales Manager.

"Matthew will train while employed by C&C", explains his father Peter, "And hopes to be involved in the new CEDA/FCSI Foundation Programme and ultimately in the CEDA/FCSI MSc."

"I hope I can have the kind of relationship my Father has enjoyed with my Grandfather over the last 28 years," said Matthew.

It has been quite a year for the Kitchin family. As CEDA National Chairman, Peter was proud to present the prestigious 2009 CEDA Industry Personality Award to his father. Previously a District Catering Manager in the National Health Service. John was later Conference Secretary for the 1969 Llandudno Conference and was appointed National Chairman of the Hospital Caterers Association for 1973/1974. He remains an Honorary member of the HCA and is now a Consultant to the family business he founded in 1981.
