Westminster Village

C&C recently refurbished the House of Lords Refreshment Department and had to overcome a number of obstacles with this project including restricted access, stringent security, an unpredictable listed building environment and the need to keep existing facilities operational.
The existing facilities had to be upgraded in order to cope with the significant increase in staff feeding requirements as well as banquets, functions, conferences and Peers' sessions and C&C was brought in to fit-out the main production kitchen, servery, bars and cold stores.
Three further listed building schemes have since been completed around Parliament Square. Catering arrangements in the House of Commons press room were upgraded with Consultant Winton Nightingale, foodservice facilities at Church House Conference Centre were refurbished to Tricon Foodservice consultants' specification and C&C also refurbished worn-out kitchens and replaced cold rooms at the exclusive Westminster school.
